Soraya and I spent many years building our careers within corporations. My background was primarily in human resources, while Soraya specialized in business development and recruiting. Over time, I faced significant challenges in my HR career, including being laid off twice within five years. After the second layoff, I realized that continuing along the traditional corporate path was no longer viable for me—I was considered too old and too expensive to secure another similar position. With no financial Plan B in place, I pivoted to consulting. Someone showed me the LegalShield business opportunity and suggested I add it alongside my consulting work I was already doing. Within one year, my part-time LegalShield business was earning as much as my full-time consulting!

Around this time, I met Soraya at a LegalShield Halloween party, and a year later we were married. As our LegalShield business continued to flourish, Soraya was able to leave her corporate position. We began building the LegalShield business together and discovered that our individual strengths complemented each other, resulting in a synergy that accelerated our results—achieving bigger and faster outcomes than we could have individually.

Several years into our journey, I faced a major health crisis that lasted almost two years. Despite this setback, we managed to sustain our business with minimal part-time effort, prioritizing my recovery. Thanks to the solid foundation we had built over time, our income remained steady—even when we could not fully dedicate ourselves to the business. We are deeply grateful for the incredible support we received from the LegalShield community, including associates and Home Office staff. Their love, care, and encouragement truly demonstrated what it means to be part of the “LegalShield Family.”

With my health restored, we are excited to focus on growing our business together once again. The challenges we faced taught us valuable lessons, and we are now making it a priority to travel and spend more time with our family, who live far from us. The flexibility of LegalShield means we can work from anywhere in the world, primarily using just our phones and computers. We are incredibly grateful for the financial freedom that LegalShield has brought us. We truly believe the best is yet to come!
